6/23/2012 – Torrey Pines State Reserve hiking (San Diego)

Joey, Crystal and I, grabbed sandwiches at Mona Lisa, and headed to Torrey Pines.
We began the breezy sunny hike looking for the best of the trails. Our aim was toward the beach.
I on rattlesnake watch, I really want to see one! But all we got was this courageous squirrel that didn’t care whatsoever about humans.
I was awed as we hit the cliffs above the beach. It is so different than the East Coast beaches.
We climbed down to the beach where kids and adults were playing on the rocks in the ocean.
Since it is a wildlife preserve, we couldn’t have food until we got to the beach.
We saw some funky pine trees with roots that go down the cliffs wall.
