7/9-7/10 – Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone is the Disney World of nature. Everywhere you turn there is some incredible natural feature or gigantic wild animal. I will have to come back again soon and stay for at least a week, 2 days isn’t nearly enough.
I luckily got one of the last campsites available in the park that day at Mammoth Campground.
Crazy sulfur formations, geysers galore and the most stunningly beautiful landscapes everywhere.
I got into a traffic jam and no one could figure out what was going on. Then, they showed up. I was in awe.
The Grand Prismatic Spring is a great way to describe itself.
So much wildlife: bison, elk, bears, eagles and more!
I sort of saw Old Faithful… I arrived right when it started to spout! I hear people yelling “It’s going!” and we all began to run over. I could see it over the high trees, but when I got to the clearing, it was fizzling out.
Yellowstone was unforgettable, and I will return to see the elusive moose that I still have yet to spot!
Sorry you didn’t come across a moose… Definitely come back soon!
